It's easy to rag on Seattle for the rain, but when it is nice it can be really nice. Here is a nearly new Washington State Ferry Tokitea on the Mukilteo to Clinton run. Posted because boatlopnik and because you have to enjoy the good days.

I love ferries. I mean, it's a car ride, it's a boat ride. It's the best of both worlds!

Yes, not many places can boast a portion of the state highway system that you can drink on.
But, the cold and clear certainly makes for some good views.

I've taken that run dozens of times to see my folks - love the new Tokitae boat. Even better when they are behind schedule and the skipper floors it to make up time. Watching the sun set from the Arnie's bar is fabulous.
